College Football Recruiting 2013: Predictions on the Top 10 Uncommitted Recruits

Edwin WeathersbyJun 7, 2018

With summer being here and several big names committing and also decommitting, the top uncommitted recruits board has changed a bit. As we roll into summer, it's always good to look around and take a stab at another round of predictions.

For this read, we're just going to quickly run down the top 10 uncommitted prospects in the country and predict where we think they will sign. Predictions and rankings are subject to change at any time, as always in this whack world of recruiting.

Here we go!

10. Derrick Green, RB

1 of 10

Derrick Green is a big RB from Virginia that is a load at 6'0" and over 220 pounds. He can shoot downhill with strength in run alleys and good force behind his pads.

Yet Green has also displayed a great burst and some explosiveness to get to the second alley. He'll juice upfield with speed and has solid wiggle.

Prediction: Clemson

9. Tim Williams, DE

2 of 10

Tim Williams is one of the best pure pass-rushers in this class and has a high ceiling. He's a 6'3", 230-pound DE from Louisiana with excellent first-step quickness.

With offers from many elite programs, Williams can go almost anywhere. I think with his explosiveness off the line, he could be a DPR-type as a true freshman.

Prediction: LSU

8. Matthew Thomas, OLB

3 of 10

Matthew Thomas is a very, very versatile defender, as he can play OLB in both a 3-4 and 4-3, while also lending a hand at the DE position.

He plays with great range and speed, as he can make plays all over the field. Thomas is a solid pass-rusher and blitzer, showing a solid burst to finish on the passer.

Prediction: Miami

7. Kendall Fuller, CB

4 of 10

Kendall Fuller is going to be a standout in college, as he's a super athletic 6'0" corner with easy movement skills.

Fuller can mirror and copy a WR at the line in man coverage, has the foot quickness and hips to come out of transition easy and has good quickness to close.

Oh, and he's also got excellent play speed.

Prediction: Michigan

6. Antonio Conner, S

5 of 10

At 6'2", 200 pounds, Antonio Conner is a great safety prospect that has great athleticism, speed and ball vision. He can help out in the box and also make a play on the back end.

Personally, I think Conner likely won't leave the state of Mississippi and his recruitment is pretty much over.

Prediction: Ole Miss

5. Robert Foster, WR

6 of 10

Robert Foster is a super explosive WR from Pennsylvania. He goes in the 6'2", 190-pound range and has flying speed and athleticism.

A potential No. 1 WR in college, Foster can get deep in a flash, while also running sharp routes thanks to great separation quickness.

Prediction: Pitt

4. Montravius Adams, DT

7 of 10

Montravius Adams can surge up the middle at the snap with good force and quickness. From Georgia, he stands 6'3", 285 pounds and has good hand quickness.

He could opt to play in the SEC and be a standout in the trenches for several seasons. Adams, when he plays with good leverage, is dominant at times.

Prediction: Clemson over Auburn

3. Ricky Seals-Jones, WR

8 of 10

Ricky Seals-Jones' backing out from Texas was a bit of a surprise, as he appeared solid to the Longhorns. However, as an aspiring forward as well as a receiver, he wants to see who'll allow him to play basketball in college.

LSU, Baylor and A&M have been mentioned as possible landing spots, yet I think Mack Brown and Rick Barnes will get together and work something out.

Prediction: Texas

2. Vernon Hargreaves III, CB

9 of 10

Vernon Hargreaves III boasts a combination of excellent technique, instincts and natural physical talent. From Florida, he's a 5'11", 185-pound cover corner prospect.

His father coaches at USF, and Hargreaves could easily opt to head to Tampa. Yet he's the No. 1 CB in the country, and many elite programs are coming after him hard.

Prediction: South Florida

1. Laremy Tunsil, OT

10 of 10

Laremy Tunsil is a 6'6", 295-pound OT prospect with good foot quickness, athleticism and agility. He's raw in his technique but has a high ceiling.

He holds offers from all over the nation because you can see once he gets seasoned up with some good college coaching, you could be looking at a great LT.

Prediction: Florida

Edwin Weathersby has worked in scouting/player personnel departments for three professional football teams: the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns and the Las Vegas Gladiators of the Arena League. He spent a year evaluating prep prospects and writing specific recruiting and scouting content articles for Student Sports Football (now ESPN Rise-HS).
