CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan: Why Matchup Will Be WWE's Best at over the Limit

CM Punk and Daniel Bryan may not be the headliners at WWE Over the Limit 2012, but they will certainly put on a show worth the top billing.

Unfortunately, as much as I like John Cena and as interesting as his matchup with general manager John Laurinaitis will be, there is no way they're going to be able to put on the kind of wrestling match that Bryan and Punk will be able to.

It's not even possible. The real intrigue and entertainment regarding Cena versus Laurinaitis will be in the fact that it's the face of the company going against the general manager, and Big Johnny will get fired if he loses.

Nobody will be watching that match for the wrestling or technique...

On the other hand, Punk versus Bryan will be arguably one of the better matches we've seen in a long time, as both superstars are at their very best as far as technique and skill is concerned.

Love him or hate him, there is no doubting that Daniel Bryan is the best submission artist in the WWE right now. His "yes lock" is absolutely devastating when he's able to lock it in, and he's extremely tactical in the way that he goes about breaking down is opponent.

On the other hand is CM Punk, who is an extremely skilled wrestler that isn't afraid to take chances and go for the huge knockout blows. He can also be very technical though, and a we saw against Chris Jericho—he's very physically and emotionally tough.

These two going at it between the ropes would be excellent under any normal circumstances, but throw in the WWE title on the line and the fact that they're squaring off at Over the Limits, and we've got ourselves a great treat.

There's no doubt in my mind that this will be the best matchup of the evening, and WWE fans will find something to enjoy about it.
