WWE Over the Limit 2012 Predictions: CM Punk and the Biggest Winners
CM Punk, Chris Jericho and the tag team of Kofi Kingston and R-Truth will all be huge winners at WWE Over the Limit 2012.
While those four superstars aren't the only huge names we'll be graced with at this year's Over the Limit, they certainly are the biggest and most exciting.
Oh, and there's some matchup between this guy named John Cena and the general manager John Laurinaitis, but that's a whole different article...

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
For now, let's focus on these few big matches and the winners that will come out of them.
Kofi Kingston and R-Truth
Since taking over the WWE tag-team title a few weeks ago, this duo has put on some of the most exciting tag-team action we've seen in a while. Kingston is high-flying, athletic and very fun to watch, while Truth is crazy, strong, but equally as fun to watch.
They make for a good team, and I don't see the heel team of Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler knocking them off at Over the Limit.
This would be a pretty marquee win for the pair, as Swagger and Ziggler are also a very good team and would be worthy of the title.
It would also be a chance for the WWE Universe to watch Vickie Guerrero scream, shout and look miserable after losing—which will make Kofi and R-Truth the most popular people in the building.
Chris Jericho
I have to admit, I do not like Chris Jericho that much (especially as a Punk fan), but I do respect his long track record of greatness as a professional wrestler. I also respect his cunning personality and veteran presence, and that's going to serve to be a huge advantage in his Fatal Four-Way match with Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus and Randy Orton.
Jericho is the ultimate opportunist and all he has to do is be the first to get a pinfall or submission. This style of match doesn't play well for the current WWE Heavyweight Champion Sheamus, as he's a big bruiser with a ton of stamina and heart, but I have a feeling he and Orton may get distracted by their recent "feud."
This leaves Del Rio and Jericho as the favorites in my opinion. Del Rio will look to work on weaknesses, but Jericho will be the one looking for a momentary opening. In the end, I see him getting a quick pinfall or submission and basking in the glow of the heavyweight title.
CM Punk
CM Punk is on a steady rise to the top of the WWE Universe. He's talented both in the ring and on the microphone, and his "I don't care what you think demeanor" and fun attitude has won him over with a ton of fans.
Daniel Bryan, on the other hand, has become one of the most arrogant, smug and disillusioned heels in the WWE. Not only that, but he lost the heavyweight title to Sheamus in 18 seconds and has struggled to win any match of consequence since then—including a rematch at Extreme Rules.
One superstar is on his way up, while the other seems to be digging a hole further down.
That being said, Bryan is an incredible submission artist and that plus the exciting style of Punk should lead to arguably the best pure match of the night. I expect these two to go at it for a long while, and I expect the match to be extremely satisfying for WWE fans.
CM Punk is the best in the world for a reason though, he wins the big matches. We can't say the same of Bryan, and we won't be able to after Over the Limit.
Check out my picks for every match at Over the Limit 2012.
