Michael CummingsJun 7, 2018

In this Sunday edition of the B/R World Football Gossip Roundup, we've got bad news for Everton fans, the latest on everybody's favorite Icelandic midfielder and a £40 million teenager.

But don't worry. There's much more. A Bundesliga striker is reportedly being watched by English clubs, Manchester City are after another player and Real Madrid are involved in almost everything.

So, it's just a normal Sunday then, right?

Let's get started.

Chelsea's Double Swoop?

1 of 7

Champions League finalists Chelsea are set to launch a double swoop for Everton midfielders Marouane Fellaini, 24, and Ross Barkley, 18.

That's according to the Daily Star, which says Chelsea would pay £22 million for Fellaini and £10 for Barkley.

Barkley would be loaned back to Everton immediately.

Sigurdsson to United?

2 of 7

The name Gylfi Sigurdsson has been all over spell-checkers and gossip pages lately, with the £10 million-rated Swansea midfielder apparently set to move this summer.

His latest destination is Old Trafford, according to the Mirror.

"

Sir Alex Ferguson has been monitoring the midfielder, who is enjoying an outstanding campaign at the Liberty Stadium after arriving from German club Hoffenheim in January.

United assistant Mike Phelan was sent to the Reebok Stadium last week to watch Swansea, with the champions set to face Brendan Rodgers’ side next weekend.

And he was accompanied by Martin Ferguson, the brother of United’s boss and the club’s chief scout.

His brief was to run the rule over Sigurdsson – an Icelandic international – and he was impressed with what he saw.

"

Sigurdsson, 22, has appeared seven times for Iceland.

Lewandowski Leaving Dortmund?

3 of 7

Polish striker Robert Lewandowski has scored 20 goals during Borussia Dortmund's run to their second straight Bundesliga title.

Now Lewandowski, 23, is reportedly being chased by Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea.

The fee would reportedly be £12-15 million.

Ranocchia for City?

4 of 7

Metro is citing reports out of Italy that claim Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini wants to sign 24-year-old defender Andrea Ranocchia from Inter Milan.

Ranocchia would cost about £12 million, while Juventus and Napoli have also reportedly shown interest.

Real Want Biglia?

5 of 7

Real Madrid have joined the race to sign Lucas Biglia, according to reports cited by Goal.com.

"

The Santiago Bernabeu side are in the market for reinforcements in the centre of the pitch as Lassana Diarra is expected to depart the club, and they supposedly see the 26-year-old as the perfect replacement.

The Argentina international joined Anderlecht from Independiente in the summer of 2006, and has since developed into a key player at the Brussels side, making over 150 league appearances for the Belgian giants.

Biglia signed a new contract until June 2015 at the start of this season, but he is believed to be keen to move to a bigger club in the summer transfer window.

The midfielder has previously been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United, but the Premier League side's interest seems to have cooled down a bit in recent months.

"

Biglia has six senior caps for Argentina.

£40 Million Moura?

6 of 7

Another Lucas, Sao Paulo's Lucas Moura, will reportedly cost £40 million for any lucky buyer this summer.

That's according to Metro:

"

According to reports in Spain, Real Madrid sounded out the Brazilian club about a possible deal and were shocked to discover they valued the teenager at a minimum of £40 million.

There is no reason for Sao Paulo to lower that price, as Lucas is under contract until 2015 and other clubs have expressed a firm interest.

"

Moura, 19, has played for Brazil's senior side 11 times.

Manchester United, Inter Milan, Paris St. Germain and Barcelona have also reportedly shown interest.

Diarra Stuck?

7 of 7

Finally, Fenerbahce have ended their pursuit of Real Madrid's French midfielder Lassana Diarra.

That's according to reports cited by Goal.com:

"

The Istanbul giants initially saw the former Chelsea, Arsenal and Portsmouth man as the perfect addition to their midfield, but Kocaman apparently feels that the France international does not represent value for money as the combination of his high wages plus a transfer fee will hurt the Yellow Canaries' financial position.

Diarra has also been linked with a possible move to Fenerbahce's great rivals Galatasaray, with a recent report suggesting that Cimbom are ready to meet Diarra's wage demands.

"

Diarra has represented France 28 times.
