World Football: 8 Unemployed Managers Guaranteed to Find a Job Come Summertime
This summer will bring the usual chop and change policy and world football will see the hiring and firing of managers aplenty.
Owners will enter rebuilding mode during the summer and there's plenty of clubs under pressure to dispense with their managers.
Job security has never been less certain, especially across the top European leagues, and here are eight managers who are looking to pounce should the opportunity arise.

Fabio Capello
1 of 8Fabio Capello has been making noises about returning to management, expressing particular interest in the English Premier League.
Although his reputation has soured since the 2010 World Cup, there would be plenty of Premier League clubs interested in acquiring his services given the chance.
He is a world-class manager after all, has the track record to prove it and wants a new job.
It'll happen, whether its England, Italy or Spain.
Alan Curbishley
2 of 8Alan Curbishley has been talking about taking jobs for a while now, but nothing has come to fruition yet.
He was a contender for the Aston Villa job before Alex McLeish took over, and with the Scot likely parting ways with the Midlands club this summer, he could be in contention again.
He's not a "sexy" appointment, but any Premier League club needing stability would be wise to look at him.
Claudio Ranieri
3 of 8Claudio Ranieri attempted the almost impossible this season—pick up the dire pieces Gian Piero Gasperini left at Internazionale.
He's far from the most successful manager in history, but he does continue to land high-profile jobs.
There's no reason to suggest why he won't get another one this summer.
Rafa Benitez
4 of 8It looks almost certain that Rafa Benitez will make his long-awaited return from exile this summer.
"Rafa," like Claudio Ranieri, was also last found at the Giuseppe Meazza plying his trade, but things didn't go well for him there either.
Benitez is constantly surrounded by speculation and has revealed he is looking for a new job.
Mick McCarthy
5 of 8Unfairly sacked by Wolverhampton Wanderers, it's just a matter of time before Mick McCarthy finds another job.
Again, he's not an awe-inspiring appointment, but he knows how to keep a team in the Premier League.
Any team looking for stability should consider McCarthy, in addition to any Championship side with big ambitions.
Louis Van Gaal
6 of 8The situation with Louis van Gaal and Ajax Amsterdam is far from simple, so I expect the Dutch master to seek pastures new this summer.
There'd be no shortage of offers for him, and indeed Chelsea were reported to have expressed an interest in him last month.
Whoever lands him will get an established winner and brilliant man manager.
Walter Smith
7 of 8Walter Smith was approached by the Wolves hierarchy after Mick McCarthy's sacking and it wasn't that he didn't want to return to management, it's that the offer wasn't right.
In fairness, the offer was terrible. A contract to the end of the season, probable relegation and no stability.
Smith should be offered a far more enticing offer sooner rather than later.
Lee Clark
8 of 8Lee Clark's sacking from Huddersfield Town was absolutely baffling.
He'd lost just three games out of the last 55 and sat well within League One playoff contention.
Reportedly, the relationship between manager and board weren't great, but the decision was still met with shock across English football.
