College Football Recruiting 2013: Which Top Recruits Could Become Teammates?
When we follow a prospect's recruitment, we tend to just zero in on that particular player and the schools he's considering. Sometimes, when we see that Player A lists a set of schools, it doesn't even register that Player B is also considering a same school or two as Player A.
For this read, I'm going to give you a couple possible tandems that we could see in college. I'm looking at the elite prospects and giving you a couple sets of teammates that we may see formed from this 2013 recruiting cycle.
Check it out.
Adam Breneman and Robert Foster
1 of 4Breneman is committed to Penn State and is the nation's No.1 TE prospect. He's a 6'5", 220 pound natural pass catcher will great ball skills and hands.
A tandem of a dynamic TE like Breneman and Foster would work well for the Nittany Lions. Christian Hackenburg could put up some big numbers.
Shane Morris and Ty Isaac
2 of 4Morris is a 5-star QB prospect from Michigan who gave the Wolverines his pledge as a sophomore. He's in the 6'3", 185-pound range and gets the ball out lucky-lefty style.
He's leading the charge for Big Blue this cycle and has been working on 5-star RB Ty Isaac for quite some time. Isaac is a 6'3", 220-pound RB who has a ton of offers and is among the top RB prospects in America.
Michigan could be the favorite for Isaac, but watch out for USC.
Max Browne, Kenny Bigelow and Michael Hutchings
3 of 4Bigelow is already committed to USC and is one of the elite DL prospects for 2013. He's a 6'3", 285-pound menace in the trenches.
USC is also looking good for OLB Michael Hutchings, as the talented second-level defender has the Trojans in his top five.
Then, Max Browne, the top QB in country who's set to announce tomorrow, has USC as one of his prime schools, too. Also watch out for Su'a Cravens, the 5-star DB/OB prospect from California, as he's an admitted USC fan.
Robert Nkemdiche and Reuben Foster
4 of 4The two best players in the country could be on the same team, easily. Foster is the nation's best LB, the No. 2 overall prospect and is committed to Alabama.
Nkemdiche is the No. 1 prospect in the land, and the Tide have looked good for his him for awhile. He's making his decision on May 18, and I'd be a little surprised if he didn't end up in Tuscaloosa.
Seeing Nkemdiche crash off the edge and Foster plug the middle is a very, very realistic sight for Crimson Tide fans right now.
