David Beckham: Overreaction to Posh Spice Tattoo Is Typical and Unnecessa
Avert your eyes, children of the world—David Beckham has a tattoo of his wife on his arm!
And once again, I don't see what the big deal is.
But it has created a bit of a controversy in the UK after it appeared in advertisements that were sent into schools. From Larry Brown Sports:

"David Beckham‘s provocative tattoo of his wife Victoria has created a stir in the UK after the ink was seen in promotional posters by supermarket chain Sainsbury’s reportedly sent to 47,000 schools and community centers across the country.
The tattoo in question, which features a scantily clad Posh Spice posing seductively on Beckham’s left forearm, is displayed in ads featuring the L.A. Galaxy midfielder encouraging preschool-age kids to adopt an active lifestyle.

I'm not sure if Victoria is supposed to be naked or not in the tattoo, and since it isn't explicitly clear, I'm not sure it's really that big of an issue. My best guess is that she's supposed to be appearing in lingerie. You can see the tattoo below.
I really don't see what the big deal is, though at least for Sainsbury's, it's an easy fix going forward. Have Beckham wear a long-sleeve shirt or only take photos of him with his right arm showing.
But honestly, I'm not sure if most kids seeing that tattoo would look at it and say "Naked lady! Naked lady!" There's a load of stuff on his arm. I think the depiction of Victoria blends in with the rest.
But I could be wrong. One way or another, I'm not surprised in the least this has become such a big deal.
Righteous indignation is the new black.
