Fifth Place Chelsea?
For a little more than a month, all we seem to hear about is Arsenal falling out of Champions League contention. I think that Arsenal have somewhat proved that they will be in the top 4 at the end of the season.
Since losing to Manchester City, they have not lost in their last seven Premier League matches. They have shown that they outperform the top teams in the EPL. They beat Man Utd, Chelsea, and tied Liverpool.
In all those matches they outplayed their opponents. They even should have beat Villa recently, but you can't really blame them for that. When a defender put the ball in the lower left corner of the goal with pace, that's just bad luck.

Chelsea has not been mentioned like Arsenal has in the past month about their form. In the past nine Premier League matches, they have won 3 (Bolton, West Brom twice), tied 4 and lost 2 (Arsenal, Man Utd).
Those are some horrible results by Chelsea, sure they got three wins but against poor sides. Chelsea has played average against mid-table teams and managed some draws and wins along the way, destroyed the lower-level teams, and played horribly against the top teams.
Arsenal has been the opposite of Chelsea. They seem to struggle aganist the lower level teams. For that reason, I think Chelsea will finish lower than Arsenal this season.
Arsenal will pick up their play and win aganist bad teams, and they always show up for the good teams. Whether this means that Chelsea finishes No. 4 or No. 5, I do not really know.
Aston Villa has played well, but they have scored very late goals to get their wins or ties. They might not have the same luck for the rest of the season.
Chelsea has a couple of tough matches coming up soon, with the likes of Liverpool and Villa. After those two matches and Arsenal's next couple of matches, I believe we all will have a good idea of where Chelsea will be at the end of the year.
My prediction: Manutd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Villa, Chelsea
Where do you guys think Chelsea will end up?
