The time for legends is once again upon us, the road to WrestleMania is in full throttle...

Triple H is the cerebral assassin, The Game and the pro-wrestling King of Kings, yet this past Monday was made to look powerless as The Undertaker returned once again to coerce him into accepting the Streak challenge.

All too often challengers have come knocking on The Phenom's door, demanding a crack at his unbroken record, and every time they have failed. The lord of darkness destroys all who oppose him and he lives still as the unquestioned master of the grandest stage of them all—WrestleMania.

Triple H is one of those that dared to take it to The Undertaker. They faced off in 2001 and 2011 at the X-Seven and XXVII editions of the show of shows, and on both occasions The Game failed. He did however make good on his promise to deliver punishment, and caused his opponent to be taken out on a stretcher, despite his victory.

Hunter said he was done with Taker. Having put out the darkness once and for all, the COO declared himself beyond all others...or so he thought.

No one is above the power of The Undertaker. WrestleMania is his battleground and the war is far from over. He returned after so long in January to put the King of Kings in his place and show him humility. To put it mildly, there would be hell to pay for saying such bold comments.

This time around, the roles are reversed. The challenge does not come to the dark prince, but out of him. He said it best himself, he will get what he wants and it will be by any means necessary.

This seems unnatural, yet very intriguing, as it is a position neither man has ever been in. This is a brilliant move by the part of WWE. Triple H plays the mind games, but how would he fare when at the receiving end of one? This is unusual, and may place the legendary character within unfamiliar territory thus revealing some weaknesses.

As the one chasing his prey, The Undertaker would be allowed to tap into a power he long ago may have forgotten. This is a spectacular way to ensure his streak remains intact. This is a new side to him everyone will surely enjoy. He will unleash a fury that can not be contained, not even by the mighty Triple H himself.

Even the COO's patience has limits. and when it explodes he will answer the challenge of his oppressor and they will meet at WrestleMania XXVIII. The battle will be far beyond anything anyone will expect, but at the end there will be only one winner.

This may be one of the best matches of the year. Both legends will have to dig deep within their psyche to come up with ways to destroy each other. They are the last of their kind and will not disappoint. That is why this program, as bizarre and unusual as it is, is brilliant.

New sides to older characters, WrestleMania and The Streak...it doesn't get any better than this, does it?

Watch for things to get way out of control in the coming weeks. Maybe there will be a preview at the Elimination Chamber on Sunday.

For all it's worth, Triple H may regret saying he destroyed The Undertaker. Hell hath no fury like a dead man scorned.
