Shaquille O'Neal Math Video: Watch Big Diesel Struggle with Numbers
Shaquille O'Neal stands as arguably the best center to ever play the game of basketball and is as good as it gets when it comes to winning NBA championships.
Some will go to the extent to argue that no other player was more dominant at the position in league history.
With four NBA championships, 14 of 17 years on the All-NBA team, an MVP and Finals MVP award, and one of the more epic-looking free-throws in league history, there is not much else the future Hall of Fame center could have done for the game on the court.
Yet when it comes to knowing his numbers, we can surely do without Shaquille's mental math.
In what was arguably as comical a moment as we have seen in any TNT Inside the NBA (although there are a plethora of them), Shaquille O'Neal was told by host Ernie Johnson that he hit 18 of his 39 free throws, which is tied for the NBA record for attempts in a single game with Dwight Howard.
Shaq and the crew would joke and said that he was automatic, which would be shortly followed by Shaq's compelling math skills.
"Well at least it is over 50 percent," Shaq said.
Well Shaq, at least you were close. Somewhat close.
To his credit, O'Neal knows how to laugh at himself, as his keen sense of humor let him and the crew laugh off the mistake.
One of the greatest players to grace the game has one of the more precise, intelligent basketball minds and is more than intriguing as an NBA analyst in his new gig with TNT.
Yet when it comes to pulling off his times tables and percentages on the spot, we clearly not to go to him for the answer.
