Tim Tebow's Magic at Mile High Shouldn't Shock the NFL
That was the decree of the running back under center’s critics after each sliver of success that he achieved this season. Instead of making excuses for his success, those haters should’ve recognized his legitimate ability to win football games.
Tebow picked up a 1-4 Denver Broncos team and put it on his back. In the next eight games, Denver went 7-1 which included a six-game winning streak. Sure, they lost three straight to end to season, but should a Broncos' playoff victory really be that surprising after what he had accomplished?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Fans aren’t crying Tebow did it! Everyone is saying Tebow did it again because this winning ability isn’t some unfathomable development. He led the Broncos to victory against New York Jets and Chicago Bears, but for many, somehow, some way, that still wasn’t enough.
The Pittsburgh Steelers were guaranteed to win right? Troy Polamalu, James Harrison, LaMarr Woodley, Casey Hampton, James Farrior; Denver would be lucky to gain a single yard let alone a single point against Dick Lebeau and Blitzburgh. Twenty-nine points later, Tebow and the Broncos have won again.
Is he a respectable quarterback now? Or does he have to beat the New England Patriots too?
A QB isn’t solely defined by his ability to throw the football.
Tony Romo, Philip Rivers, Jay Cutler and Donovan McNabb are all superior passers to Tebow. It isn’t even close. But on a quarterback’s job description, the No. 1 requirement possesses not five, but three letters: w-i-n.
Because no one can describe what Tebow brings to the field better, ladies and gentlemen, I give you Skip Bayless.
As Mile High Magic trends on Twitter, can it really be called magic if Tebow pulls off these type of wins over and over again?
The last time I checked, a miracle win isn’t an eight-time occurrence.
Despite the consistency, fans are still blinded by the image they’ve been given of the prototypical NFL quarterback, and they continue to be unnecessarily shocked.
