U.S. Army All-American Bowl: 5 Prospects Everyone Is Dying to Snag

Randy ChambersJun 7, 2018

While everybody is caught up in the hype of all the bowl games, there is a game this weekend that will host the future of college football. It's called the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, and it will feature top prospects from around the country.

The top high school players will take the field one last time and show the country what they have to offer. Many will also make their college commitments. This game should be exciting and will tell a lot about which college teams will be in good shape, as several programs will land top players.

While every player in this game is extremely talented, here are five players that are still undecided that every team is trying to get that signature from.

S Shaq Thompson

1 of 5

Landon Collins went down last night but another top safety prospect is Shaq Thompson.

Thompson is considered the top safety prospect in the country, but he has the ability to play other positions like running back or wide receiver. He is a fantastic athlete, with great instincts and solid speed. He's one of those players that could contribute right away and really help one lucky team's defense out.

Thompson is still considering offers from Washington, Arizona State, California, Oregon and Notre Dame.

RB Barry Sanders Jr.

2 of 5

When you hear the name Barry Sanders, you think of one of the greatest running backs ever. So, if you found out his son plays football, you'd be extending an offer as well.

Sanders Jr. is very much like his father as he is extremely quick, makes great moves in the open field and is even very impressive at catching the ball out of the backfield. His quick acceleration makes him a player worth getting excited over.

He has offers on the table from Alabama, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Stanford, Florida and Florida State. It's expected that he will commit to Stanford.

WR Stefon Diggs

3 of 5

Stefon Diggs is one of the top receiver prospects in the country and is extremely fast. He makes extremely quick cuts to dodge defenders, and when he gets into the open field, good luck catching him. Diggs has great instincts and is a threat to take it the distance every time the ball is in his hands.

He will likely play wide receiver, but could also play running back or cornerback.

He's still considering Auburn, California, Florida and Michigan, among others.

WR Dorial Green-Beckham

4 of 5

Dorial Green-Beckham is one of those players that will make a huge difference for his team the minute he steps onto the field.

This guy is a ridiculous 6'6", 220 pounds. At that height, he already has a huge advantage over nearly every cornerback in the country. Any quarterback will look good throwing to a guy his size.

He's the ultimate deep threat and a huge red zone target. Remember this name because he will become one of the top receivers in the country very soon and eventually a top draft pick in the NFL.

He's considering Alabama, Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

OT Arik Armstead

5 of 5

Arik Armstead is likely the top offensive lineman in this year's class. He has great size at 6'8", 275 pounds and is very explosive. He always has great control of defenders and rarely ever gets beat as he tosses them around like toys.

Armstead has a bright future at offensive tackle and whichever team picks him up will be very lucky.

He's still considering Oregon, California, Notre Dame, USC and Alabama, among others.
