Michael DixonJun 7, 2018

Two BCS Games are yet to kick off, and we've had a fantastic BCS season thus far. But between Wednesday's Orange Bowl and Monday's BCS National Championship Game, we're going to see three other games.

If you're a fan of college football, you'll want to keep your attention on these games. Let's take a look at what we can expect from the non-BCS clashes that still remain on the schedule.

Before we do that, take a look at the dates and times for all remaining bowl games.

Cotton Bowl: Kansas State vs. Arkansas

Folks, you're going to want to watch this one. These two teams are better than at least four of the teams that actually earned a BCS spot.

We're going to see a lot of points in this one. Both of these offenses scored more than 30 points per game during the regular season, and this will bring similar results. In the end, it will come down to a battle of defenses, and that's an advantage for Arkansas.

Prediction: Arkansas 38, Kansas State 31

Hype-Meter: 7.5 out of 10.

BVAA Compass Bowl: SMU vs. Pitt

Unlike the Cotton Bowl, neither of these teams boasts a particularly potent offense. Both teams also have defenses that are better than average.

Perhaps the most intriguing element of this game is seeing how the Pitt players react to having their coach leave, especially via text message.

Neither team finished their seasons on a particularly strong note, so there's no clear favorite here. Still, Pitt has the more complete team and gets a slight edge based on who they've faced.

Prediction: Pitt 23, SMU 16

Hype-Meter: 6 out of 10

GoDaddy.com Bowl: Arkansas State vs. Northern Illinois

Don't be fooled by the fact that these aren't necessarily big names. No, none of these teams plays in a BCS conference, but they play an exciting brand of football.

The man to watch here is Northern Illinois quarterback Chandler Harnish. He's a genuine dual-threat quarterback, with nearly 3,000 yards passing and 1,400 yards rushing on the regular season. You'll be seeing an awful lot of him, and that's worth the watch on its own.

Prediction: Northern Illinois 37, Arkansas State 31

Hype-Meter: 8 out of 10.
