Quarterback Dylan Raiola

2 of 3

Dylan Raiola again finds his name in headlines ahead of National Signing Day.

Originally, the Buford, Georgia native committed to Ohio State before switching to the University of Georgia.

Now, as Steve Wiltfong of 247 Sports reported, Raiola visited Nebraska, keeping the Cornhuskers in the conversation despite his commitment to the 2021 and '22 national champs.

It would be frustrating for the teams in question if Raiola was not a five-star recruit with raw ability and talent to help any of them chase a championship.

Andrew Ivins, Director of Scouting for 247 Sports wrote that Raiola "Owns a college-ready frame at a verified 6-foot-3, 220-pounds and is a better athlete than he gets credit for as he can buy himself time and extend plays in the face of pressure. Ability to drop the elbow and use baseball-like angles to work around traffic is certainly tantalizing, but regular release is just as impressive as he mirrors his upper and lower halves with a fluid, repeatable motion."

He added, "Has no issues generating velocity, but has also shown that he can change speeds and layer the football with accuracy, although he could get more consistent in that department on a snap to snap basis. Lethal when operating off of play-action and not afraid to swing for the fences."

He still needs to read the field better, but does not turn the ball over.

What he already does is the stuff of a future Heisman Trophy winner, with pro potential.

Wide Receiver Gatlin Bair

3 of 3

Gatlin Bair is a four-star, six-foot-two, 195-pound receiver out of Burley, Idaho.

Currently ranked as the 11th best at his position, with blazing speed that he built through his high school track and field career.

A multi-sport athlete, he caught 45 balls for 700 yards, an average of 15.6 yards, and six touchdowns in his senior year. He also added 12 carries for 136 yards, and six touchdowns on the ground, proving himself as a potential flex player for his college team.

Bair had previously committed to his hometown Boise State Broncos but pulled back on that on December 1, according to 247 Sports.

The speedster has also had visits with the Oregon Ducks and Michigan Wolverines, prompting speculation that one or both of those teams may ultimately be the destination for the young player.

That he has also spent considerable time playing defensively for his high school Kimberly Bulldogs team suggests that he may have a future on that side of the ball if a logjam keeps him out of the offensive skill positions.
