WWE News: Brodus Clay's Debut May Be Pushed Back Yet Again
As we all know, Brodus Clay was set to debut before the end of 2011. Unfortunately for Clay, those plans were scrapped several times, leaving him in limbo.
Now comes news from wrestlinginc.com via the Wrestling Observer that Clay may once again be pushed back from his slated debut on January 9th.
"The Wrestling Observer reports that WWE may hold off on Brodus Clay's debut until after The Royal Rumble. According to a report on PWInsider, Clay was actually scheduled to squash a local talent on RAW this past Monday night, but those plans were nixed during the day.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
If he is indeed going to debut around the Royal Rumble, wouldn't it make sense to have him debut at the pay-per-view itself? Last we saw, they were packaging him as a beast of a wrestler. If they debut him during the Royal Rumble match, he could come in and eliminate several guys and quite possibly be in the final four. A debut like that would solidify Clay as someone deserving of all the hype.
With all of these issues, one has to wonder if Clay shot himself in the foot when he tweeted in November that he was going to destroy John Morrison. This tweet was in response to Morrison's contract ending and how Morrison would exit the WWE.
That tweet was inevitably deleted along with Clay's debut. Ultimately, only the WWE really knows what they will or will not do with him.
Whatever they decide, they need to do it soon as Clay's buzz is dying each day he is not on TV.
