Colorado's Deion Sanders on Being Spoofed by 'SNL': 'I'm a Fan' of Kenan Thompson

Saturday Night Live's Kenan Thompson and Colin Jost spoofed Colorado football coach Deion Sanders earlier this month, poking fun at the media spectacle that has been created around the team despite its modest 4-3 record.

Sanders said he saw the parody and told reporters on Tuesday he thought it was "good."

"I'm a fan of Kenan," he added. "Let's just get that straight. I love him. I love what he's brought to comedy."

Sanders is no stranger to SNL, having hosted the show in 1995.

As for his coaching career, he'll hope to get Colorado back on track on Saturday in a tough matchup against No. 23 UCLA. The Buffaloes are seeking their first bowl appearance since 2020 this season.
