Full List of LSU Players Drafted in Each Round of 2022 NFL Draft
April 28, 2022
A total of 21 LSU players have been selected in the NFL draft over the past two years. That's a byproduct of the undefeated 2019 team's remarkable season that saw the Tigers average a nationwide-high 48.4 points per game and score 105 in the College Football Playoff alone.
Six Tigers have since been selected in the first round, including 2020 top overall pick Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, who are both lighting it up in Cincinnati.
Justin Jefferson, who somehow fell outside the top 20 in 2020, has established himself as one of the top receivers in football with the Minnesota Vikings.
Defensive back Derek Stingley Jr. has added his name to the illustrious list of recent LSU first-rounders on Thursday. The B/R NFL Scouting Department loves him, to the point where they rank him fourth overall and first among cornerbacks in this year's draft. The Athletic consensus big board ranks him seventh.
LSU appears unlikely to have anyone else go in Round 1, but more Tigers were candidates to hear their name called in the first three rounds, including linebacker Damone Clark, defensive lineman Neil Farrell Jr. and offensive lineman Ed Ingram. The latter player went No. 59 overall to the Minnesota Vikings.
Cornerback Cordale Flott joined him in Round 3 after the New York Giants selected him, and then running back Tyrion Davis-Price went No. 93 to the San Francisco 49ers. Farrell went to the Las Vegas Raiders in the fourth round, and Clark ended up with the Dallas Cowboys at No. 176 overall in the fifth round.
Here's a look at where everyone at LSU landed in the 2022 NFL draft. All prospects listed below were either invited to the NFL Scouting Combine and/or attended LSU's Pro Day.
