Gary Davenport has been an NFL and Fantasy Football Analyst for nearly 20 years, helping fantasy managers win leagues and NFL fans vent about their favorite teams’ latest boneheaded personnel move. Gary has written at Bleacher Report since 2011. He’s so O.G. that he has one of the old gray “FC” hoodies in his closet. Over that time, he has penned thousands of articles, at least three of which were good. A member of the Pro Football Writers of America and the Fantasy Sports Writers Association, Gary has won three FSWA awards, including Football Writer of the Year in 2017 and 2019. In 2026, Gary was a finalist for the FSWA Hall of Fame. A long-suffering fan of the Cleveland Browns, Gary resides in Columbus, Ohio, where his hobbies include wondering why he ever rooted for the Cleveland Browns and yelling at the television every Sunday.
