Eric Pincus
Eric Pincus is a national NBA writer and salary-cap expert based in Los Angeles, with over 23 years in the industry, translating the complex Collective Bargaining Agreement into something fans can better understand. Years of relationship-building have helped Pincus create a strong intel base, helping him project player movement via trade, free agency and extension. He also works closely with player agents, helping tutor for certification, along with player-career navigation and preparation for contract negotiation. While Pincus' first love was baseball, the NBA became his passion in the '90s. He spent years alongside current and future Hall of Famers like Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Luka Dončić, Phil Jackson, Pau Gasol, Chauncey Billups and Robert Horry—he'll argue Horry's case on demand. Married since 2000, Pincus has three grown daughters whom he coached to multiple rec league championships pre-high school. When offline, Pincus likes to nerd out to clear his mind by tinkering with the Megaminx. Similar to a Rubik's Cube, the 3x3x3 dodecahedron takes him about 10-15 minutes to complete.
