Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors Live NBA Preseason Updates, Scores and Highlights

The Golden State Warriors play host to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night at Chase Center, with tipoff coming at 10 p.m. EST / 7 p.m. PST. Since the occasion marks the second preseason game for both squads, we have plenty of developments and questions worth tracking.

Our list of what to watch for and think about includes:

  • So, who plays for the Lakers? Los Angeles is coming off a Monday night preseason victory over the Sacramento Kings. Lakers head coach JJ Redick said some of his guys who didn't participate in Monday's win could get run on Tuesday. That list will not include Walker Kessler or Austin Reaves. On top of that, Luka Donฤiฤ‡ will not be suiting up, either.
  • So, who plays for the Warriors? Golden State is working through a stretch of three games in four nights that began in Hawaii on Sunday and ends in Portland on Wednesday. It apparently plans to play veterans Stephen Curry and Draymond Green against L.A. and hold them out against Portland.
  • The Lakers' new play style. Los Angeles opened the preseason prioritizing aggressive perimeter defense and high-volume three-point shooting. It forced 26 turnovers against the Kings, including 14 alone in the first half. Nearly 54 percent of the Lakers' shot attempts also came from beyond the arc. Will these trends hold against the Warriors?
  • Stephen Curry needs offensive help. With no Jimmy Butler or Kristaps Porziล†ฤฃis in the mix, the Warriors heavily featured Brandin Podziemski, Brandon Williams and rookie Yaxel Lendeborg during Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. This figures to continue, but the Dubs need all three to make more shots.

Other points of emphasis will emerge as this game unfolds. Keep it locked here with us for all the latest and greatest highlights, analysis, and of course, crown-jewel reactions from social media.

Steve Kerr's Kristaps Porziล†ฤฃis Update is Ominous

If you were hoping to see encouraging Kristaps Porziล†ฤฃis news, my recommendation is to keep scrolling. Yikes.

The Warriors are Starting Small

Dubs fans should pay attention to this one. Kristaps Porziล†ฤฃis is sidelined with an undisclosed health issue and Al Horford is collecting social security, so a lineup of Stephen Curry, Brandin Podziemski, Gui Santos, Yaxel Lendborg and Draymond Green could be a starting-five staple.

All 3 Lakers Stars are OUT

Luka Donฤiฤ‡ played against Sacramento last night, so this isn't surprising. But here's a hoop idea, NBA: No back-to-backs in preseason.
