Tim Tebow Time Is over and There Is Nothing ESPN Can Do About It
Let's face it, ESPN has loved all of this Tim Tebow stuff over the past two months. The network has thought of every story, angle and report it could to keep the Denver Broncos quarterback in the headlines. It has more than likely been a ratings bonanza for the four-letter network, but that might not last much longer.
This past weekend, Tebow and the Broncos faced their first real test against the New England Patriots and were completely outclassed, falling 41-23.
What has been overlooked during Denver's remarkable run with Tebow under center was the fact that they caught virtually every opponent at exactly the right time. In order, the Broncos beat: the Dolphins when they were winless, the Raiders when they were missing Darren McFadden and still adjusting to Carson Palmer at quarterback, a terrible Chiefs team, a Jets team with no identity, the Chargers in the midst of a six-game losing streak, the horrendous Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears with Caleb Hanie under center.

Aiyuk Trade Value Diminishing
While Tebow has certainly played well late in games, the Broncos may not actually be very good. They won seven of eight games against teams that either had major flaws, key injuries or were simply not playing good football at the time.
The Tebow hype was premature simply because he hadn't shown he could lead a team to victory over a top-level team.
If the Broncos reach the playoffs, Tebow will certainly have the opportunity to prove me wrong, and I'll be the first to congratulate him, since he is undoubtedly a great kid who has worked extremely hard. But forgive me for not being sold on him just yet.
