Mike Smith: Falcons Coach Undergoing More Tests After Jaguars Game
Atlanta Falcons coach Mike Smith had a scare after his team beat the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
He was admitted to a Charlotte hospital after complaining of chest pains when boarding the organization’s charter flight home.
Len Pasquarelli of FOX Sports is reporting that the 52-year-old coach is still going to undergo further tests this week after the Falcons play the Jacksonville Jaguars tonight at home.

Smith spent the night in the hospital on Sunday and was cleared to go on Monday morning after initial tests revealed he did not suffer a heart attack.
It was not clear what sparked the nausea and chest pains so he will undergo more testing as early as Friday.
The coach may need to be admitted to the hospital for these but it is still unclear.
Hopefully, he is okay and it is something minor that can be diagnosed quickly and treated immediately.
A heart issue in high-pressure environments, such as coaching a professional NFL team, can be a major problem and dangerous.
Smith needs to make sure he worries about himself first and then his job after that.
It seems he is fine to coach right now, as he has been attending all of the practices and is ready to be on the sidelines for the game tonight.
The Falcons certainly need him as they are currently 8-5 and tied with the Detroit Lions for the wild-card spot.
