Vikings' Jared Allen Punches Falcons' Ray Edwards: Paging Roger Goodell?
Minnesota Vikings all-pro defensive end Jared Allen has admitted to punching ex-teammate Ray Edwards (Atlanta Falcons) in the groin.
"Ray is obviously a former teammate and friend of mine, said Allen, I told him before the snap that he's known for blowing up the long snapper on the field goal.
"
That is ballsy. Coming out like that and just hitting a guy in the groin?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Roger Goodell has been busy these days. It just seems like yesterday that he was dealing with the Ndamukong Suh stomping incedent. Now this?
The day of Suh's stomp, I wrote a post saying Goodell should suspend Suh for the rest of the season for his behavior. Goodell had a chance to take a stand and draw a hard line on what is acceptable in this day and age in the NFL.
Instead, Suh was slapped on the wrist with a two-game suspension. So what?
It's not enough.
I love Jared Allen, and I hope he ends up on a good team, but what he did goes against the rules of good sportsmanship. Despite the inherent violence of the game of football, it is ultimately still a gentlemen's game.
The NFL is the premier sport in the USA. It should represent the highest morals. Players are paid a bucketful of money to play a game.
This behavior should not be tolerated.
So, Mr. Goodell, the ball is in your court, sir.
