WWE: When Will Kevin Nash Shut Up and Wrestle?

The Doctor Chris MuellerDec 4, 2011

Kevin Nash is someone who can spark more debate in the wrestling industry than almost anyone else. Some would bill Nash as a living legend, while others think he was pushed for no reason and did not deserve the fame he had.

Whatever your opinion may be, you have to acknowledge the history in which Nash is involved right at the core.

He is great friends with Triple H in real life, which is why their feud seems so much more personal than most feuds between superstars.

Nash is looking better these days than he has in years. He seems to be moving a little better on his feet and has gotten himself back into fighting condition.

While I do not expect any five-star matches out of Nash anytime soon, I still wish to see him actually wrestle instead of delivering promo after promo about how he felt betrayed.

Nash has great mic skills and can make these promos entertaining, but how much longer do we have to wait before this conflict is settled?

What should happen is someone, maybe Stephanie comes to Raw and reminds Nash that since he signed a contract he is obligated to wrestle.

They could choose to give Nash an easy win over someone like Trent Barreta, or they could go the other way and Have Brodus Clay destroy him in his debut match.

There are plenty of things Nash could be doing while Triple H is "recuperating" from the injuries Nash inflicted on him a couple weeks ago.

I was a big fan of Diesel and I became an even bigger fan when the NWO made waves that rippled throughout the entire industry.

He was better in the ring back then than I think people are willing to give him credit for. His no DQ title match with Bret Hart was a great match and not just because of Bret.

He had plenty of good matches with guys like The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels during his time in WWF as well.

At one point Vince McMahon had positioned Diesel as the leader of WWF's new generation. He was given a lot of responsibility as leader and he handled it well.

It is because of this admiration for him that I wish to see him have a couple matches and then have one good farewell match with Trips at a pay-per-view to end his great career.

He deserves a good send off after a 20-year career which has seen the big man win multiple titles in multiple companies.

I think even if Nash ends up retiring from the ring he could contribute in other ways. He might even make a better announcer than Booker T for SmackDown.

I feel his best use would be as a manager for some of WWE's other big guys who need someone else to do their talking for them until they improve on the mic.

Guys like Mason Ryan, Brodus Clay and Tyler Reks would have a much better chance of standing out if Nash was in their corner.

Nash is pretty much a lock for a hall of fame induction some day, but that is then and this is now and Nash needs to stop flapping his gums and start kicking people in the face.

A guy his size can always make anyone look like an underdog when facing him, so Nash could be used as a way to make a few younger guys look good while still winning the matches.

I am not asking for a long run with a title or anything like that, just for Nash to shut up and wrestle.

Who do you think would be a good opponent for Nash while he is waiting for Triple H to return?

By the way, I love that he misspelled "Wrestling." I am curious to see who will be handed a beating on Monday.
