North Carolina Tar Heels: Most Efficient Players Throughout the First 12 Games

Daniel SzewczykDec 20, 2011

Even after their losses to UNLV and Kentucky, the North Carolina Tar Heels are still one of the most efficient teams in college basketball.

They currently rank third in points per game, first in rebounds per game, third in assists per game and 29th in field goal percentage in the entire nation.

But who has been the most efficient rotational player throughout the first 12 games of the season for the Tar Heels?

In an effort to find out, I used the NBA's efficiency formula ((points + rebounds + assists + steals + blocks - field goals missed - free throws missed - turnovers)/games played) to find out each rotational player's efficiency rating average per game, and then used another formula (40/minutes averaged per game * players efficiency rating average per game) to find out the player's efficiency rating average per 40 minutes.

Enjoy!!!
