Adam Snyder Is Offensive MVP of the San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers' offensive MVP is guard Adam Snyder. Many people would point to Frank Gore, and some might say Alex Smith, but neither of those two men play well without Snyder.
The 49ers were destroyed by the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football in front of a national audience. The Ravens sacked quarterback Alex Smith nine times, tying a franchise record.
Snyder had to leave the game with a hamstring injury in the second quarter of the 49ers' Thanksgiving contest against the Ravens. There is a direct correlation between when things got ugly for the 49ers and when Snyder left the game.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Snyder also gets my vote from a statistical point of view. The 49ers began the season with Chilo Rachal starting at the right guard position and Snyder backing him up. After a horrible three-game start, head coach Jim Harbaugh made the decision to give Snyder a shot.
The fourth game was the contest against the Eagles. Frank Gore had been struggling before the game but broke out of his slump, running for over 100 yards in each of the team's next five contests in a row.
Also, the 49ers had been giving up a lot of sacks for the first three games, but after Snyder's insertion into the starting lineup, the team became adept at pass protection.
Then, on the big stage, Snyder was forced out of the game due to an injury and the 49ers' hopes for executing on offense left with him.
The 49ers need to get him signed long-term and cut Chilo Rachal after the season, in my humble opinion.
I know that people never think about offensive linemen when considering who the most valuable player is on their team, but fans of the 49ers should agree with me about this one.
Adam Snyder is the most valuable player on the 49ers offense.
