Week 11 Fantasy Rankings: James Starks and Studs That'll Shred Defenses

Andrew KulhaNov 19, 2011

At this point of the NFL season, fantasy football is all about matchups, and the stakes couldn't be higher with impending playoff bids drawing nearer by the day.

The best fantasy football owners know that by Week 11 most teams have evened out. If you're at the bottom of your league, chances are you aren't going anywhere.

If you're at the top, it's time to start buckling down for the playoffs.

There are no more big trades, and no more awesome waiver wire pickups.

It's all about matchups.

Here are the best ones to exploit this weekend:

James Starks, RB Green Bay Packers:

Anybody who has watched the Packers offense play knows that James Starks is essentially the starter, even though Ryan Grant will get some looks.

While the Packers are undoubtedly a pass-first team, Starks will be a great option against a Buccaneers team giving up 138.2 yards on the ground.

The Packers are a smart team that knows they have to be well-rounded to win another Super Bowl.

Rodgers will get his numbers, but expect Starks to have a big game as well.

Lynch has been in "beast mode" for the past few weeks, and there is no reason to believe that he won't continue his winning ways.

He's gone over 100 yards for the past few weeks, and the Rams are averaging 150.6 rush yards against them.

I expect Lynch to continue his hot-streak.

Brandon Lloyd, WR St. Louis Rams

As Sam Bradford gets healthier and gets more and more acclimated to Lloyd as a receiver, he becomes a better fantasy option.

There's no doubt that Lloyd is WR1 potential, and the Seahawks are giving up 349.4 yards per game through the air.

Laurent Robinson, WR Dallas Cowboys

Robinson was considered a sleeper pick when Miles Austin went out, but it's suffice to say that he may actually be the real deal from here on out.

He hauled in two touchdowns last week at Buffalo, and one touchdown in each of the last two games before that.

He's a great play for the rest of the year, as he's definitely come into his own with the Cowboys.
