WWE SmackDown Results: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
WWE SmackDown was a great show tonight. I enjoyed it a lot more than this week's WWE Raw. I am just going to try to ignore Monday night moving forward. It was that bad...
Tonight had something for everybody, and it finally started making Survivor Series feel special next weekend. With that being said, let's dive into the best (and worst) parts of the show!

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Mark Henry and The Big Show are proving why they are veterans worthy of still being on WWE TV. These two are doing a great job. Mark Henry continues to prove all the haters, doubters and cynics wrong. Big Show also has done well since returning. Kudos to both men tonight!
The opening segment was pretty good. It was nothing special, but I enjoyed it. It set up things for the rest of the program, and it gave some more spotlight to Sheamus.
Speaking of, what a nice little match between Sheamus and Christian! The ring man went over again, as both are headed in opposite directions. Sheamus is set to main event for years to come. Christian is done main eventing on a full-time basis.
The backstage segment with Aksana and Teddy Long was great! These two have great chemistry, and Aksana is going to surprise a lot of people with her in ring skills! Alicia Fox being involved as well was a nice touch.
The other part I wanted to discuss was the main event. Wade Barrett and Randy Orton put on a great match. These two fought last year a lot, but I never minded their matches. They always entertained.
The Bad
The first part I wanted to discuss was a promo. The Ezekial Jackson promo was fine, but it still gave me no reason to cheer him. They tried pushing him earlier this year, but they quickly realized it was not working. The same goes for Ted DiBiase right now.
He had a fine little match with Jinder Mahal, but why should I care? The "DiBiase Posse" is not going to make me care. I want to cheer the guy. He has all the skills in the world. Give me a reason WWE!
Next misstep of the night was about a commercial that aired. Yes, a commercial! The promotion for the recent Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels DVD deserved a lot more than it got. That thing should have been plugged every single show big time. Now it is released, and it feels like an after thought already.
WWE also needs to give me a reason to care about Epico, Hunico, and Primo. I am not just going to randomly stand up and take notice. Beating the Uso twins is not a big deal. Give Sin Cara a stable. Give Primo a microphone for a promo. Something! Anything! These guys have potential here.
Finally, I really do like Alicia Fox. I think she is great. However, it is time to get Aksana in the ring for a few matches on SmackDown. We do not need to see Tamina vs. Ms. Fox again. Throw in Rosa and Aksana next week. It is a small complaint, but the entire diva segment felt like filler.
Natalya tried to "speak for Beth Phoenix" here, but Eve is the number one contender and was nowhere to be found. Again, this entire thing felt pointless. All the women are talented, but they had nothing to work with here...
The Ugly
I gave my thoughts on Daniel Bryan last week, and I feel the same way this week. I do not like his use the past two weeks one bit. Mark Henry should have squashed him even more for his move last week.
Michael Cole was absolutely right all night. Bryan looks so bad right now for teasing a cash in, then not doing so. This week, he did it again backstage talking to AJ and Kaitlyn. Stop teasing the cash in!
I say is every week, but I am the most positive person you will ever meet. I try to see the good in everything, but this entire Money in the Bank situation the past two weeks is beyond bad. I can't even describe the feeling.
I hope Bryan is done messing with Henry. I really hope he is done talking about cashing in his briefcase before Wrestle Mania. Go beat some mid carders for a few months and come back looking strong in February/March. Not now! Please!
