NFL Picks Week 8: A Look Ahead at the Giants vs. Dolphins
Coming off of a bye week, the 4-2 New York Giants will host the 0-6 Miami Dolphins in what will be the second trap game in a matter of three weeks for the G-Men.
While the winless Dolphins have looked absolutely dismal at times, there have been bright spots as well.
Quarterback Matt Moore, for one, is a reason not to take Miami too lightly this week. Back in Week 16 of the 2009 NFL season, Moore, then playing for the Carolina Panthers, lit the Giants defense up for three TDs and posted a 139.8 QB rating.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
While Moore has been held in check so far in his three games as Miami's QB this season (one TD and three INT), there's still a potential for big plays down the field with stud wideout Brandon Marshall.
Marshall has also underperformed so far this season, only posting one TD on 34 receptions for a total of 483 yards, but then again, so has the entire Miami team.
Running back Reggie Bush has been poor, gaining only 232 yards on 60 carries with zero touchdowns, and rookie backfield mate Daniel Thomas has shown glimpses of hope, rushing for 302 yards in just four games. But still, Miami is tied for last in the league in rushing touchdowns, and second-to-last in fumbles with seven.
While Miami is averaging more yards on the ground per game than New York, the Giants have gained more production from the running game, scoring eight touchdowns to the Dolphins' two.
The Giants, on the other hand, are coming off of a monstrous running performance by Ahmad Bradshaw, in which he rumbled for three touchdowns and 104 yards in New York's win over Buffalo in Week 6.
The G-Men will most likely get Captain Justin Tuck and running back Brandon Jacobs back this week, and possibly fullback Henry Hynoski and rookie cornerback Prince Amukamara, who has yet to see the field. Pro Bowl guard Chris Snee has also been practicing this week, and is likely to start on Sunday.
With that being said, the Giants D will take the field on Sunday looking to dominate a Miami offense that is averaging a mere 15 points per game.
Look for the Giants to get the running game going early against a Miami defense that is surrendering over 119 rushing yards a game. As long as Eli Manning can protect the football and manage the game, Big Blue should have success against the 'Fins.
All in all, this should be an easy win for the G-Men; heavy emphasis on should.
