Oakland Raiders: If Bad Luck Comes in Threes, Then Reversals Come in Fives

Let's give you something to think about.

First, Al Davis passed away and he was the "head" of the Oakland Raiders.

Second, the quarterback, Jason Campbell gets an injury near the head, in the collarbone. This injury disabled the team, a bit.

Now there is talk about the kicker, Sebastian Janikowski, having hamstring trouble.

The total is three. Does bad luck come in threes?

If it does, then let's get busy today and start affirming the positives and the possibilities for new appointments, either temporary or permanent, to get the Raiders back to a winning position.

Now if these incidences were intended to throw the Raiders in a pit of failure, let's hereby declare that what was meant for failure will be reversed and turn into good.

In the story about Joseph who was thrown in a pit, things were reversed and some "good" came out of the struggle. Joseph ended up in a palace.

We want that type of reversal for the Oakland Raiders.

We lost the "head" now let the "head" be replaced with someone who can stand on Al Davis' foundation and shoulders and see farther and do greater things.

We have an injured quarterback, now let the replacement, either temporary or permanent, do things that extend the winning pattern.

We have been plagued by the fact that the Raiders' kicker may be limited. Now, let's pull for the team and request that another kicker do a job equal or greater than Sebastian Janikowski did, until he returns.

James 4:2 of the Bible says, in summary, "You have not, because you ask not."

The least we can do is, "Ask."
