While this rematch between the Drew and Goodman leagues is clearly not the NBA, it is close, and it is definitely exciting.

This contest benefited from several factors. The players are undoubtedly getting anxious to play real basketball again. They are also anxious to prove they can put out a good product without David Stern and the NBA. Also, this was about the competitive nature of the players.
The hometown Drew league was out for revenge. The Goodman league beat them the first time these two met. They got their revenge with a 151-144 victory, and now, the series is even.
The Goodman league is now hungry for a re-match.
