NFL Speculation: Andy Reid Might Be Coaching Last Season for Philadelphia Eagles
The "Dream Team," a team prematurely anointed as Super Bowl-bound by many prior to the start of the season, now might really be hoping to win enough games to make the NFL playoffs.
Philadelphia Inquirer sports columnist Phil Sheridan speculates that Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid might well be coaching his final season with the team. With the way the Eagles have performed through five weeks of the NFL season, this absolutely may be the case.
Who knows? Perhaps the Eagles management is thinking Reid will be as good as gone in the next several weeks. It's a tough assumption, but then again, it has its fair share of substance behind it.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Eagles are just 1-4 after making several significant offseason acquisitions that made the Eagles the Super Bowl favorites in many people's eyes. One of the big reasons Reid might be heading toward the exits has been the subpar play of his quarterback Michael Vick.
This offseason Vick signed a six-year, $100 million extension with about $40 million in guarantees late August. It is a contract that surprised most across the league, as it makes the QB one of the highest paid players in the league. Vick has thrown for 1,336 yards, with eight touchdowns and seven interceptions on the season thus far.
In the Week 5 loss to the Buffalo Bills, Vick was easily the main reason the team lost with his four interceptions in one game, one of which was taken back for a touchdown by Bills linebacker Nick Barnett.
Andy Reid has had quite the tenure with the Eagles, and Vick's poor play certainly is not 100 percent the fault of Reid by any means. Yet, ultimately, as the saying goes, the easiest thing to change is the quarterback. It's more difficult to change around the depth chart or roster than it is to replace one guy with another.
At the end of the day Vick has been turning over the football, while the supposed "stacked" defense has been unable to make tackles and has given up big play after big play.
Is this entirely Reid's fault? Not in the slightest. Will he get the blame? Without question.
With as much talent as the Philaelphia Eagles possess and just one win to show for it in five games, there is no doubt Reid has all eyes on him. Expect the team to quickly make a change if the team continues on its current path.
