The news that came out of Cowboys' camp on Wednesday was nothing but positive. Austin, as well as Dez Bryant, made it through a full practice and are locks to play this week, according to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com.
The Cowboys offense, particularly quarterback Tony Romo, has missed Austin's presence in their previous two games.
They are getting Austin back at the right time as they head into New England this weekend. They need all the help they can get to score with Tom Brady and co.

The good news train keeps on rolling through Big D.
Tony Romo's top target and the league's No. 1 points per game receiver, Miles Austin, continues to survive practice and looks like a full-go this week.
ESPN Dallas reported that Austin was back at practice again Wednesday for the second time this week.
If all continues to go accordingly, Austin is a must-start against a shaky Patriots secondary.

Fantasy owners look for increased production should consider making a trade for Miles Austin. He will be healthy following the Week 5 bye, which will allow him to fully rest his injured hamstring. Dez Bryant may be a beast, but Austin is still the primary target in Tony Romo's eyes.

ESPN is reporting that Miles Austin was not spotted during a light practice going into the Cowboys bye week. He should be taking this time to recover along with a number of other injured Dallas players.
"In a light practice at Valley Ranch on Wednesday, the Cowboys didn't have the following players on the field: FB Tony Fiammetta, WR Miles Austin, G Kyle Kosier, G Derrick Dockery, CB Orlando Scandrick, S Danny McCray, S Barry Church, S Gerald Sensabaugh, DEJason Hatcher and K David Buehler.

Update: Monday, Oct. 3 at 7:20 p.m. ET
There is a great deal of optimism that Austin will be ready to play ahead of the Cowboys next game against the New England Patriots in Week 6.
Todd Archer of ESPN wrote this past weekend that Austin was willing to give his hamstring a shot in Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.
According to the report, Austin stated, "I would like to be out there, but we’re just being pretty cautious about it and that way I’m full go for after.”
The Dallas Cowboys Twitter feed issued the same sentiment on Sept. 30.
This is a wait-and-see decision for fantasy owners. It is clear that Austin is closer to returning than he is to meandering on the sidelines.
The Cowboys could sure use a trustworthy set of hands as they dropped a wild game on Sunday that saw the Lions come back to score 17 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.
Tony Romo could sure use another weapon on the wings. With a bye week allowing for added time to get healthy, look for a near 100 percent Austin to play in two weeks. At that time, the Cowboys will be sure to get the most production possible out of their star receiver.
