UPDATE: Saturday, Oct. 15 at 3:55 p.m. EST by Brandon Galvin
Felix Jones still isn't 100 percent healthy after suffering a dislocated shoulder earlier this season.
""Cowboys running backs coach Skip Peete said Jones has 'been playing with a lot of pain.' Jones said Friday that the injury is still bothering him.
'I can tell you this, it lets me know,' Jones said. 'It's still not 100 percent. I'm just trying to play through it and contribute and help out with my team,'" according to Dallas Morning News' Brandon George.

The good news for Jones' fantasy owners is that he hasn't aggravated the shoulder in practice and is still on pace to play tomorrow against the New England Patriots.
UPDATE: Thursday, Oct. 6 at 7:37 p.m. EST by Brandon Galvin
We haven't been hearing anything on the Felix Jones shoulder injury front this week, which is good news. Some fantasy owners may worry about his fourth down blunder against Detroit in Week 4, but they shouldn't fret whatsoever. Expect Jones to be the Cowboys' most consistent RB following the bye week as long as he doesn't aggravate his shoulder.
UPDATE: Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 6:38 p.m. EST by Brandon Galvin
After playing Week 4 against Detroit, fantasy owners have no reason to worry about their potential breakout stud RB heading into Week 6. Felix Jones will be a full-go heading into Week 6, as long as he avoids aggravating his shoulder in practice.
UPDATE: Monday, Oct. 3 at 5:40 p.m. EST
Before the Cowboys' 34-30 loss to the Lions on Sunday, Jones said, via The Dallas News, "I am able to do what I need to do. Whether I am feeling sore or not, I am not complaining. I am just happy to be out there."
Jones said at the time that he was looking forward to the bye week because it would "give me a chance to get healed up a little bit more."
The injury to Jones shouldn't be much of a concern anymore, especially with the Week 5 bye. The question is, can we expect Jones to be the player who dashed through the Redskins or didn't make much of an impact against the Lions?
The truth is that Jones is more of a Darren Sproles-type player—someone who can occasionally break free for a big run or catch but isn't equipped to be a feature back.
Jones is averaging 4.3 yards per carry this season, but that is largely based on the Redskins game, in which he averaged 8.2 yards per carry. In each of first two weeks, Jones averaged under 3.0 yards per carry and averaged 3.6 yards per carry against the Lions.
Jones is a player who can win a week and lose a week for you in the same breath. It's best to pick your spots when playing him on your fantasy football squad.
