Why Matt Cassel, Todd Haley Altercation Brought Kansas City Chiefs Victory
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel and head coach Todd Haley got into a verbal confrontation after Cassel panicked and threw the ball into the ground while being rushed. Their confrontation was the reason why the Chiefs picked up their first win of the season.
Haley’s actions brought energy and life to the entire Chiefs team, offensively and defensively. This is something they needed to have happen. The leader of the offense (quarterback) getting screamed at for his decision to give up on the play was the turning point in the game.
It showed that Cassel’s play was unacceptable. He has to stay in the pocket and make a better decision, not just because it was the right play, but for the team. Every man out there is battling for 60 minutes, giving it 100 percent, and Cassel should play better than what he has in 2011.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He struggled to get his team into the end zone in the first three quarters, but finally broke through in the fourth quarter with a touchdown pass to Dwayne Bowe. He finished 18-29 for 260 yards with one touchdown.
Falling to 0-4 would call for the end of the season. Improving their record to 1-3 at least gives them a shot in the arm going into the middle of their schedule.
Kansas City plays Indianapolis next week before going to Oakland. If they can defeat the Colts, it would set up a huge AFC West matchup against one of the best teams in the division.
The victory for the Chiefs gives them life going into the next quarter of the season.
