Kenny Britt Injury: Who Are Titans' Best Replacement Options?
It is being reported that Tennessee Titans receiver Kenny Britt is out for the season with a right knee injury.
Britt was carted off the field at the end of the second quarter and he was visibly in a ton of pain after going to the ground and fumbling the ball away on a play in which his knee bent awkwardly. With members of Tennessee's organization fearing that Britt has torn his ACL and MCL and an MRI scheduled for Monday, right now the Titans need to turn their attention to who will step in for him. If he is indeed done for the year, the Titans have backup options, but none are as solid as Britt.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Nate Washington will immediately become the No. 1 option for quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. Hasselbeck found the seven-year veteran eight times for 92 yards and a touchdown on Sunday as the Titans came from behind to beat the Denver Broncos 17-14.
Damian Williams and Lavelle Hawkins will both likely battle to take over the No. 2 spot. Williams is in his second year out of USC, where he was an incredibly productive player. On Sunday Hasselbeck found the third-round pick from the 2010 NFL Draft one time for a 19-yard gain.
Hawkins is in his fourth year out of Cal and on Sunday he had two catches for 19 yards.
While neither backup option will be able to replace Britt—who entered Sunday's game with 14 catches for 271 yards and three touchdowns—they can both be adequate fill-in guys for the time being. What the Titans really need is to get more from running back Chris Johnson.
After getting a six-year, $55.26 million contract at the beginning of the month, Johnson hasn't done much for the Titans thus far. While he did have 54 yards receiving today, he only rushed for 21 yards on 13 carries. In Week 1 he managed just 24 yards on nine carries and in Week 2 he had 53 yards on 24 rushes.
He also has yet to score a touchdown this season.
That simply is not good enough from Johnson and if the Titans hope to win games and get by offensively without Britt, they need him to step up.
