NFL Power Rankings: Who is the Best Team in the League?
Who is the NFL's best team?
It's certainly a debate that can last for hours on end, and yet still have no plausible solution.
Why?

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Because we are only two weeks into the 2011 season, so it's virtually impossible to fully determine who the best team is.
That being said, however, let's build a quick case for each of the following four teams that could very well be the NFL's best team, and then come up with a solution at the end.
We begin with the defending Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers.
Green Bay Packers
They are currently without DBs Tramon Williams and Nick Collins, but the Green Bay Packers have so much depth it almost seems to good to be true.
Last season, they managed to win the Super Bowl despite having 15 players on the IR, and they were the NFC's No. 6 seed after having to win over NFC North rival Chicago in Week 17.
The backups stepped up big when it mattered most, and it all has led to a juggernaut-esque team for 2011.
Sure, both of their games have been close and the pass defense has allowed over 400 yards per contest, but you know what they call the team that wins every game by a TD?
Super Bowl champions.
QB Aaron Rodgers is arguably the best player in the game, and his receiving core is definitely one of the best.
Defensively, they have Clay Matthews, who was the 2010 NFC Defensive Player of the Year, and CB Charles Woodson, who was the 2009 NFC Defensive Player of the Year.
They have depth, talent and experience.
It's The Triforce (for all the Legend of Zelda fans out there) of being a champion.
New England Patriots
All you really need to say is Tom Brady.
He's easily one of the greatest QBs to ever go under center in NFL history, and yet, ever since his rookie season, the Patriots have had numerous changes all around, except for him.
And guess what?
They continue to win games and are Super Bowl contenders every season.
The defense looked skeptical after Week 1, but they came up big in Week 2 by forcing four turnovers of the San Diego Chargers.
You had to have expected that head coach Bill Belichick was going to turn his defense around; it was only a matter of time.
That being said, the Pats' are the AFC's favorite to represent in the Super Bowl, and rightfully so, as they've only gotten better since 2010.
New York Jets
Head coach Rex Ryan's team has arguably the NFL's best defense year in and year out, and the Jets have been on the Super Bowl cusp the previous two seasons.
This year is expected to be their year, and after a comeback performance in Week 1 and a dominant performance in Week 2, New York is without a doubt a Super Bowl contender.
QB Mark Sanchez continues to gradually improve, and although he's not where he need to be yet, his postseason record of 4-2, along with a 9/3 TD/interception ratio, is very impressive for the youngster.
And now that he has another solid WR in Plaxico Burress to go with Santonio Holmes (Braylon Edwards was overrated) as well as TE Dustin Keller, the offense has no excuse not to play well.
You know the DBs with Darrelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie and Jim Leonhard are going to shut every receiving core down, so at this point, it really only comes down to who's hungry for a championship.
And after losing two consecutive AFC Championships, you know the Jets are very hungry.
New Orleans Saints
Although the Saints lost their Week 1 opener 42-34 at Green Bay, QB Drew Brees and the New Orleans offense looks to be the hottest in the NFL.
Last season, Brees threw 22 interceptions, but through two games in 2011, he has yet to be picked off.
By that evidence, this could ultimately turn out to be Drew's best season (which is really saying something), which will only bode well for later on.
Obviously, the defense needs to improve, but they answered the call so far in shutting down the defending NFC North Champion Chicago Bears in Week 2, unlike their NFC South rival Atlanta, who allowed The Windy City to put up 30.
If there is a team in the NFC right now who can go toe-to-toe with Green Bay, it's the Saints.
They have the offensive firepower and the special team in Darren Sproles, and the defense is only getting better.
And much like the Packers, New Orleans also has talent and experience; however, depth on the defense may be their only concern at the moment.
Conclusion
After careful consideration and review of their resumes, until they are dethroned from the top, the Green Bay Packers are the NFL's best team.
They play in arguably the NFL's toughest division and won a Super Bowl with half of their starters on the IR.
It was arguably the most impressive feat in NFL playoff history, and they've only kept rolling in 2011.
