Tim Tebow: Does Broncos' QB Have a Future as an NFL Wide Receiver?
When Denver Broncos receiver Eddie Royal collapsed with a groin injury in the second quarter, Broncos receiver Tim Tebow took his place.
Yes, you heard that right, Tebow became an NFL receiver on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Oh no, here it comes. The thoughts of Tebow becoming an NFL receiver down the line while he sits firmly at No. 3 on the Broncos' QB depth chart.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
OK, folks, I get it. Tebow needs to see the field in any way possible, because if he doesn't that $10,000 billboard will be resurrected and the city of Denver will revolt.
But please take this for what it is, and nothing more. This only happened because the Broncos had no one else to play receiver. Before Royal went down, tight end Julius Thomas left with an ankle injury. Thomas would have started over Tebow at receiver.
Of course, the fact that Tebow blocked on a running play at receiver doesn't help matters, either. People have projected him as a good fullback in the future.
But the fact of the matter is, he's none of these things. He's a quarterback and he will never be anything more. And right now, he's a failed quarterback.
This is even more absurd than Terrelle Pryor having a future as a NFL wide receiver with the Oakland Raiders. At least Pryor had the athleticism to potentially at least contribute in that area.
But as the Dallas Cowboys' Dez Bryant has proven, not even a wealth of athleticism instantly makes you a great receiver. You need to understand route-running and timing. Bryant has a head start and should eventually understand the intricacies of the game.
Tebow is expected to all of a sudden contribute when he's never contributed at receiver, even in college.
Sure, Tim Tebow could become an NFL receiver.
He will also become a great NFL quarterback.
But both of these statements are lies.
