Arizona Diamondbacks: Winners on the Road in 2011; Ian Kennedy Goes for 20th Win
The Arizona Diamondbacks have been a juggernaut in the National League of late.
They won their 41st game on the road this season on Monday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers. What this means is that the team will finish with a winning record on the road this season.
It's no secret that a winning team must be successful on the road and this year's D'Backs club has done just that.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Considering the Diamondbacks only compiled 25 wins away from Chase Field in 2010, this year's progress is the primary reason for their fruition. With five games remaining on the road, their road record now stands at 41-35.
The team now has an overall record of 86-62 on the season and is tied with the Milwaukee Brewers for home-field advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The Diamondbacks have ambushed the Brew Crew in the standings recently, winning 17 of their last 20.
With 14 games remaining for both squads, the final nine Diamondbacks games are at home as they only play one opponent with a winning record, the San Francisco Giants, three times.
As for the Brewers, their final six games are at home and they don't have any games remaining with an opponent above .500. Both teams have zero room for error as the battle for home field will come down to the season's final days.
Tuesday marks another possible feat for the Diamondbacks as Ian Kennedy looks for win No. 20 on the season. He will face Dodgers' pitcher, Chad Billingsley.
Kennedy is 10-2 on the road for the season. He's also an astounding 10-1 since with All-Star break with a 1.95 ERA. As of now, he has an outside shot at the NL Cy Young, but will have to remain perfect in his final starts if he is to win the award.
Although the Diamondbacks currently hold an 8.5-game lead in the NL West, there are plenty of bigger things to focus on and accomplish the rest of the way.
