10 Athletes You Would Love to Take a Picture With

Jerry SanchezSep 9, 2011

I think it's clear that most people who watch sports have a goal in life to find their favorite athlete inside a mall, out in the street or somewhere else where there's a great chance to take a picture with him.

It would easily be one of the best photos ever taken in your life. You'd have a moment that would forever be a perfect conversation starter.

Now before I start things, I'd like to mention that these are current athletes and there will be no NFL players, NHL players, or UFC fighters mainly because I don't know much people from any of the three mentioned sports.

In no particular order, we shall begin!

Honorable Mention: Neymar

1 of 13

This is actually more for soccer fans, so it's obvious why you would want a picture with him. He could be as great as soccer legend, Pele who even said it himself. And word on the street is, his mohawk is under consideration for nomination as one of the seven wonders of the modern world.

Why not take a picture with him in his early days?

Honorable Mention: The Undertaker

2 of 13

For all the avid WWE followers, obviously this picture would be so valuable to you. The Undertaker is an all-time great. Never has there been a superstar who combines such incredible agility with heft.

His body obviously is aging and banged up so finding him would really be difficult for anyone. In my opinion, there will never be another wrestler just like the Undertaker.

Kobe Bryant

3 of 13

Love him or hate him, there's no denying that Kobe Bryant has accomplished more than any other active player in the NBA for the past 15 years.

It would be hard for anyone outside of Los Angeles to find him randomly on the street, so really LA natives got the highest chance of this one—just make sure it's not this guy. The worst part about approaching any celebrity or athlete is being nervous. Walking up to Kobe and asking for a picture and autograph would probably be as difficult for me as asking a girl out on a date. My heart would be pounding, palms sweaty, and having second thoughts about completing the task.

The main reason why it sounds really cheesy that this would happen is simple. He's Kobe Bryant. Arguably one of the greatest players in the history of the game.

Numerous amounts of All-Star appearances, MVP awards, and NBA Titles don't begin to describe his accomplishments.

Pure skill and his presence are outstanding traits he possesses. An amazing player would lead to an amazing photo.

Cristiano Ronaldo

4 of 13

Arguably the best player in soccer today, Cristiano Ronaldo not only would appeal to men, but also those ladies. This guy attracts thousands of women everywhere so you would easily be able to brag to those women and maybe even grab some attention yourself.

Anyways, the Spaniards and the Portuguese have the highest chance of this so if you're so desperate to see him in person, wait until he shows up the USA or accumulate enough money to head to Europe.

He definitely would be a great photo to have on your shelf because you can say, "I met the greatest soccer player in the world", or can say "I met the worst actor in the world". (Sorry, I had to).

Lionel Messi

5 of 13

Another splendid soccer player, Lionel Messi would instantly lighten up your day.

Reports do say he is self-centered and doesn't really like to please the fans by stopping for pictures and whatnot, yet he still would be great to meet one day.

Lio is also five foot six inches so if you wanna feel a little powerful next to Messi, I'm guessing height would be your best bet.

Dwight Howard

6 of 13

Why Dwight Howard? It's simple! He is a funny guy who is just fed up with Orlando!

If you meet him you can ask him about his future, but I doubt you'll get any decent answer. With that being said, the photo you'd take with him would be golden because he's easily the best center in the NBA. He is also one of the more charismatic players in the league.

Alex Rodriguez

7 of 13

This is more of a "I wanna take a picture with him because he's amazing and I love the New York Yankees", or "I can't wait to flip him off and get a picture at the same time!"

For me, I wouldn't care. I'm not the biggest follower of the MLB, so a picture with him would be fine. Of course, just like Ronaldo, women would love this one.

They might even try to feed him while taking the photo.

Tiger Woods

8 of 13

Tiger Woods revolutionized the sport of golf. No other golfer has enjoyed the same kind of following. From his days of being the absolute best to the current infamous realities, Tiger would really be someone you'd love to brag about.

I don't know how he is when it comes to approachability, but I only really like golf because of him. And maybe you do too. Nonetheless, taking a pictures with a sport's best is something big.

LeBron James

9 of 13

Much like A-Rod, this depends on whether you like him or not. If you're a Miami Heat fan or bandwagoner (easy to assess: do you enter playoff games in the second quarter?), of course LeBron James and you in a picture would be like a life's dream. However, if you're a Cleveland fan or just don't like him, you won't dare miss the chance of embarrassing him in a photo!

He's basically the future of the NBA along with countless of others. As much as I hate to admit it, he will be the best player in the NBA in two or three years, nonetheless he will never be the greatest.

Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer

10 of 13

They are in the same slide for a reason. I don't know who is better. I don't follow tennis at all, however these guys are so good I know who they are.

Anyways, both are arguably the best at their sport and like I mentioned before, why not have a picture with greatest of the sport?

I personally would rather be with Rafael Nadal mostly because my roots and ancestry goes back to Spain. That's where Nadal's from in case you don't know.

Manny Pacquiao

11 of 13

This era's Muhammad Ali, Manny Pacquiao is the Philippines man.

His punches are lightning-quick, and he backs down to no one. He's lived through hardships and off money he gained from selling in the streets. He should be highly admired mainly because he shows what extremely hard work does and how it pays off in the end.

He wastes your money though. His opponents hardly put up a good fight so he ends up knocking them out in the second round. I stick to YouTube and watch highlights or ask friends instead of spending 60 bucks. But maybe I'll get the Pac-Man vs Marquez fight. That's going to be good.

Usain Bolt

12 of 13

The hardest thing about finding him would probably be distinguishing how does his face look. It's awfully hard to tell when he's moving at a hundred freaking miles an hour! His jogging is probably as fast as my running. The label "fastest man on the planet" goes to the reigning champion in the 100 meters, and Bolt is just that.

He's a Jamaican sensation.

"Lightning Bolt" has won race after race after race. Numerous gold medals are obtained by him and he shows no sign of stopping. This is man would obviously be very hard to find in the public but not hard to spot!

Conclusion

13 of 13

Obviously, there were people left out so if you would love to share your personal list or any I did not mention, feel free to do so.

There wasn't any scale or anything to distinguish who would be on the list, it just is pure greatness or hatred.

Thanks for the read!
