Patriots Coach Bill Belichick Means Business with Ochocinco, Haynesworth
Believe it or not, but New England may cut Chad Ochocinco and/or Albert Haynesworth before Week 1
Would you believe that this is possible for any franchise other than the New England Patriots?
Of course not, why?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Because Bill Belichick is their head coach, and he has three Super Bowl rings (four total appearances) to a combined zero between WR Chad Ochocinco and DT Albert Haynesworth.
In addition, neither Ochocinco nor Haynesworth have ever made it past the Wild Card Round in the postseason.
Therefore, it's not too far-fetched to think that this could be possible.
According to Dan Pompei of the National Football Post, New England may go in a different direction mid-preseason/training camp:
"Chad Ochocinco and Albert Haynesworth might not be long for New England. One day before this story came out by my guy Mike Reiss, one NFL executive familiar with the Patriots ways told me he believes one or both of the big name acquisitions will be cut before the season starts. The front office man thinks coach Bill Belichick will use the controversial players to help control and send a message to his locker room.
"
If you are surprised by this, you should be more surprised by you actually being surprised, because this is Bill Belichick at his finest, and this is what he does.
And if you watched the preseason game between Jacksonville and New England, where were both Ochocinco and Haynesworth?
Nowhere to be found (on the field), that's where.
Now when you think about it, it's not nearly as big a loss for the Patriots to lose Albert Haynesworth.
They only gave up a fifth-round pick to get him, so no harm no foul.
However, they did lose Ty Warren to the Denver Broncos, and are now lacking depth and experience on the defensive line.
As for Chad Ochocinco, it's really a matter of financials.
He signed a $4.5 million bonus to play in New England, but with weapons like Deion Branch and Wes Welker, Tom Brady won't be sobbing to much.
"I see this as a move only Belichick would make, in all honesty. This is really an intriguing claim, to say the least, but the bottom line is Belichick is in control and he will show that by moving on from players if they do not conceded to his bidding. He has done it in the past with Randy Moss and he will do it again.
"
And remember the last time New England signed a stud offensive and defensive player (Adalius Thomas and Randy Moss in 2007)?
They lost their only Super Bowl under Bill Belichick.
As for the three Super Bowl victories?
Their WRs consisted of Deion Branch, Troy Smith, David Patten and David Givens.
All the Patriots really need is Tom Brady back there, slinging the rock around like Sammy Baugh.
