Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Hear: WMMS 100.7 FM Cleveland and WTMJ Milwaukee
The defending Super Bowl champs will travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns. The Packers want to prove last season wasn't a fluke, and their first preseason game can do just that.
The starters won't play a ton, but Green Bay should come out and beat up early on the re-building Browns. Aaron Rodgers has a chance to prove in the 2011 season that he belongs among the elite quarterbacks, and this will be the first time we see him in action since February.
For Cleveland, this is an opportunity to gain great experience for a number of players. Mike Holmgren continues to build this team up, and new head coach Pat Shurmur gets a chance to show the NFL what he is made of.
Colt McCoy has a different attitude heading into the 2011 season. A year ago, he didn't think he would be playing at all and now he is the starter for the Browns. This is an important game for him as he goes up against a great defense.
Packers Key Addition - Ryan Grant
The Packers remained quiet this offseason, which kind of made people forget about them. They didn't make any big moves, but they do get running back Ryan Grant back from injury.
Having a solid running back behind Aaron Rodgers will do wonders for this team. They were very successful without him last year, and if he remains healthy all season long, then a Super Bowl repeat is very likely.
Browns Key Addition - Greg Little
The Browns weren't big players in the free agent market, but they did have a good draft. They could of had Julio Jones with the No. 6 pick in the draft, but they traded down with the Atlanta Falcons. With one of those picks they got from the Falcons they took wide receiver Greg Little.
Little is 6'2", 230 pounds, which means McCoy has big target out wide. The second-round pick has great hands and will be a deep threat for the Browns.
Packers Biggest Loss - Cullen Jenkins
Jenkins had seven sacks for the Packers in 2010, and his production will be greatly missed. The 305-pound defensive lineman isn't going to be easy to replace. He left to join the Philadelphia Eagles, along with many other free agents.
Browns Biggest Loss - Matt Roth
The defensive end had 86 tackles and 3.5 sacks last season. Roth will be tough to replace, but the Browns are hoping second-round pick Jabaal Sheard fills the void. For a team that struggles to get after the quarterback, the departure of Roth to the Jaguars hurts.
What They're Saying
Browns beat writer Mary Cay Cabot tweeted today, "coach Shurmur said his sense is he'll find 'we have a long way to go' vs. Green Bay" and "starters will play the first quarter, the twos will play a couple of quarters" [sic].
Bob McGinn of the Journal Sentinel writes that free agent signee Tory Gurley has been getting into it with corner back Tramon Williams, and Williams even "smacked Gurley in the head and the rookie from South Carolina hit the deck." Not good news from training camp as fighting among teammates is the last thing they need.
What's Worth Watching
It's simple, really: The defending Super Bowl champs are back in action! How many yards and touchdowns will Aaron Rodgers throw for against Cleveland's sub-par defense? Also, it will be great to see James Starks in the backfield, and whether or not the running back will still produce well after a great playoff run.
Biggest Storyline
How much have the Cleveland Browns grown? Colt McCoy takes over the reigns, and he has the chance to prove he can be a good starter in the NFL. If he finds success on the first few drives, then maybe the Browns are a team to watch this season.
