Kevin Durant Video: Watch OKC Thunder Star Dominate Weak Competition Once Again

Eric BowmanJun 7, 2018

Forget playing overseas. Kevin Durant is having a blast dominating weaker players.

A day after dropping 66 points at the famous Rucker Park in New York, Durant stole the show once again at Nike Pro City in New York scoring 41 points.

He played for the Gold's Gym team, which won in overtime 146-143.

Are you OK with Durant lighting it up against scrubs in street ball or in gyms? I certainly am.

Durant doesn't need to play internationally. Playing hoops with lesser talent does wonders for the man's confidence. He knows he is awesome, and this further solidifies it.

Why risk it playing against European players when you can play against guys who are big time fans of yours?

No basketball player out there wants to be that guy. Imagine how many people would hate you if you were the guy that took out Durant in a pick-up game because you wanted to be mister big shot?

If you get the chance to play against Durant, you're not going to challenge him when he has the ball. You may try, but he'll beat you with ease.

The best way to get Durant during a pick-up game is to take him one-on-one.

However, even then Durant would school you. He's 6'9" and a NBA star. You stand no chance against the guy.

That's why it's fun to watch him terrorize weak competition in these pick up games. People want to see Durant put on a show, and he's doing just that.

Don't expect Durant to ever let up in these games against the regular guys. I'm OK with that, and you should be as well.

By the way, pay attention around the :30 second mark. Championship anyone? Do you think he has the right to throw that gesture?
