Moving Today's Market Last night the NBA opened the 2008-09 season with three games, but now 12 games hit the hardwood tonight. There has been some interesting plays triggered on a few of these games. The public is in favor of the Magic as they have received 68% of spread wagers against the Hawks, but four Smart Money alerts have been triggered on Atlanta. The line at Pinnacle has not moved after it opened with the Magic at -8. The public is also pounding the side of the Hornets as they play the Warriors. They have received 83% of the spread wagers, and the Pinnacle line went from the open line of Magic -4.5 to -6.5. The Warriors received three Smart Money alerts on this game. We have also seen some interesting plays on some NHL games. The Devils opened at Pinnacle -201 and has since climbed to -212, so the public is moving this line as New Jersey has received 76% of the money line wagers. Some interesting play has been triggered as the Maple Leafs received two Smart Money alerts, including one at BetOnline (+4.41 units). Another game grabbing attention is the Wild against the Starts. Stars opened at -135 with Pinnacle and now sits at -132. A Steam Move was triggered at 5Dimes (+2.8 units), which caused this line to decrease.
