2011 NBA Draft Grades: Video Rating Each Eastern Conference Team's Picks
Less than 24 hours since the Association and David Stern wrapped up this year’s version of the draft, It's time for the 2011 NBA draft grades. And while a true reflection of the draft won’t be known for months—maybe years—it’s never to early to take a first shot at analysis of how teams did and what analysts think about the draft.
Andy Bailey, a NBA featured columnist for Bleacher Report, reviews each team’s draft night and grades their night.
How did Andy feel your franchise did?
Your team might not have picked early, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t value in the draft or your team didn’t earn high marks for picking talent. Did your team pick the best talent, or the best player for your team, as they build, rebuild or reload?
Michael Jordan doesn’t have the best draft history. How did he do this year?
Spike Lee was in the house. Did the Knicks earn a good grade?
Jimmer Fredette is either loved, hated or loved, and now he’s in the Association. The playoffs just ended, the Eastern Conference still has the Threetles, Heatles or whatever moniker LeBron James wants. Orlando is still a force and Boston thinks its window is still open.
And that’s not even mentioning the MVP’s team up in Chicago.
It’s never too early to break down the East, and draft grades are a perfect start. What did your team earn, and do you agree with their picks?
