Kansas City Royals Prospect Watch: Danny Duffy
After the Kansas City Royals promoted first base prospect Eric Hosmer last week, many began to wonder who would be next to make the jump to the big league team.
Danny Duffy, a 22-year-old left-hander, seems to be the most logical choice at this point in time.
Duffy, who was selected in the third round of the '07 MLB draft by Kansas City, is off to a terrific start playing for Triple-A Omaha this season.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Here is a quick rundown of his numbers as of 5/11:
Games started: 6
Wins: 3
Losses: 0
Innings: 32.0
Hits allowed: 24
BB: 7
K: 41
ERA: 2.25
Whip: 0.97
After a quick glance at his stats, it's clear that Duffy has been very dominant through the first month-plus of the 2011 campaign.
His K/BB ratio is nearly six-to-one; his ERA and WHIP are both tops for the Storm Chasers.
Duffy should likely get a call-up sometime in the next few weeks, especially considering the recent struggles of starters Jeff Francis and Kyle Davies.
The future looks very bright for this kid but right now we will have to patiently wait and see when the Royals feel he is ready for the limelight of the major leagues.
