Derrick Rose Video: Watch Rose Rise for Follow-Up Jam in Game 4
Derrick Rose scored 34 points last night for the Chicago Bulls, but that wasn't nearly enough as they were dominated by the Atlanta Hawks in the fourth quarter.
The NBA's MVP didn't play his best game and 34 points were marred by the loss and a 12-for-32 shooting night.
Chicago fell into a 2-2 tie with the Hawks, and this series very much looks like it will go the distance.
Rose wasn't the only poor performer of the night, though, as only two of his teammates, Luol Deng and Carlos Boozer, scored in double-digits.
This lack of help is evidenced by Rose's highlight of the night here.
With a little over five minutes remaining in the first half, Rose slashes inside, steps off to the right leaving Josh Smith stepping backwards in retreat and pulls up for a short floater.
As if on cue, Rose is the only one to crash the boards and follows his own shot with a great put-back.
Not only his teammates stepped away to watch, but the Hawks all looked confused as the NBA's MVP was still moving while they watched mesmerized as if they were seeing Rose's relentless offensive pursuit for the first time.
This shot and put-back really sums up the entirety of Game 4.
Rose takes two shots in the span of five seconds, misses one, but still finds a way to score the basketball.
It was all Rose, but it wasn't enough.
