Andrew Bynum Ejection Video: Watch Bynum's Cheap Shot on J.J. Barea in Game 4
Andrew Bynum only had six points and six rebounds at the time and tied Kobe Bryant for the worst plus/minus of the game.
With approximately eight minutes remaining, the Lakers missed one of their many shots as the end of their season was closing in and Andrew Bynum showed some terrible frustration as the Mavericks came back down the court toward the basket.
"That is one of the biggest Busch League things I have ever seen. That is terrible." cried Mike Tirico after Andrew Bynum clotheslined J.J. Barea.
The Lakers' young center was immediately ejected from the game after he raised his right arm into the chest of a jumping J.J Barea.
This is a terrible ending for one of the most embarrassing series in Lakers history.
Bynum, who closed the regular season on a hot streak, really started looking like a potential franchise center, but this is a complete inexcusable act.
Barea, on the other hand, finished the game with 22 points off the bench.
The clothesline really sums up the Lakers' collapse in the postseason, a frustrating, inexcusable mess.
Bynum could have played his last game as a Laker if they can somehow pry Dwight Howard from the grasp of the Orlando Magic and this is awful final memory for him.
It was the second ejection for the Lakers as Lamar Odom was tossed before this classless play even took place.
To make matter worse, Bynum ripped off his jersey while walking into the tunnel magnifying the ridiculous act.
Expect the NBA to take some action for this at the start of next season and Bynum deserves every ounce of punishment he receives.
