Before he was traded around the league like a bag of basketballs, Q-Rich was on the verge of a blossoming career in the movie industry.

He can even take on different roles outside of his baller self.

Did you know that his character in Van Wilder was named Quentin? That's quite impressive. 

Kareem Abdul-Jabar in Slam Dunk Ernest

Kareem certainly did not need his sky hook to get past Ernest and his friends.

Come on, man. These movies are the absolute lowest on the totem pole. 

Even Mr. Bean is funnier than Ernest. 

Julius Erving in The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh

It's like Semi-Pro meets The Godfather, in a classically cheesy type of way.

But it's not like Dr. J had to stretch himself out for a role he wasn't familiar with, as he played his famous self. 

Rick Fox in Meet the Browns

I remember when Rick Fox was in the twilight of his career with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Much of the Hollywood media thought the smooth-looking Fox would be natural for a career in acting after basketball.

Apparently, so did he. 

Penny Hardaway in Blue Chips

What kind of college coach wouldn't like to "find" players in the mold of Shaq and Penny?
