The man has been a Laker since the infamous trade with the New Orleans Hornets that brought him there during the 1996 NBA Draft. Although there have been some turbulent times in the history of the Lakeshow, Kobe Bryant has been one player who has stayed the course, and has played his entire career in Los Angeles.

During the 2010 NBA All-Star weekend, LA bestowed one of its greatest honors upon Kobe as they made him the first athlete to ever have a star on the Hollywood walk of Fame. If this is any indication that the people of LA love Kobe, he is the heart and soul of this Lakers team and will most likely end his career in Los Angeles as well.

Just goes to show that this is his town, baby.
